The Korean Water Resources Corporation will help rebuild settlements destroyed by the enemy
The Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine together with the Korean Corporation of Water Resources K-water will work on the reconstruction of settlements destroyed by Russian aggression.
This was reported by the press service of the State Recovery Agency.
"We are working on comprehensive restoration of settlements that were destroyed by Russian troops. This is the reconstruction of social infrastructure, and private houses, and communications. The experience of foreign companies will allow us to work more efficiently and make projects of higher quality," said Valeriya Ivanova, Deputy Head of the Reconstruction Agency.
K-water President Sog Dae Yoon proposed to identify priority projects for which the corporation can provide assistance with equipment, related materials, etc. Korean partners are ready to provide charitable assistance from their company and negotiate financing from the government of the Republic of Korea.
"We would like to participate in the restoration of destroyed Ukrainian cities. I am well aware that this requires large sums of money. We came not to start some new businesses for profit, but to help Ukraine in its struggle and recovery," said Sog de Yun.
Among the projects that are a priority for the Recovery Agency and can be implemented in cooperation with K-water - water supply in the village of Posad-Pokrovske, Kherson region.
Also, according to the signed memorandum, the Recovery Agency and K-water will exchange the experience of building "smart cities" (an ecological, information technology-based approach), the implementation of various infrastructure projects that will help in the reconstruction of damaged and destroyed Ukrainian infrastructure.
