Dedicated to the victory of the defenders: a new mural was presented in Kyiv

On the territory of the National University of Defense of Ukraine, an art installation-mural "Our Land" was presented.
The authors of the mural are Kharkiv muralist Andriy Palval and artist Elizaveta Derymuka. They depicted Ukrainian defenders and stone-cold warriors of the past.
"The foundations of the stone idols are buried in the blood-soaked Ukrainian land of generations, which preserves the evidence of great battles and remembers the exploits of the legendary warriors of the glorious past," the statement said.
The basis of the artistic composition is the combination of the image-mural and the objects integrated into it - material evidence of military success of various historical eras reproduced by modern masters.

In particular, within the framework of the project, the exhibition "Will to the People! Will to the People!" was opened, where the work of the artist Serhii Babii "Battle for Kyiv" was shown. Visitors saw leaflets of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, as well as works made on the wreckage of Russian military equipment destroyed during the battle for Kyiv. On November 23, Kyiv temporarily banned the creation of new murals. It will continue while the Kyiv City Council works on developing and approving a transparent and open mechanism for agreeing their sketches.
