Ukraine Facility: Ukraine received EUR 1.9 billion in financing from the EU

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, the EU has allocated almost 35 billion euros in direct budget aid.

The State Budget of Ukraine received a tranche of unconditional financing in the amount of 1.9 billion euros from the European Union as part of the financial instrument Ukraine Facility.
This was reported by the Ministry of Finance.
Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko said that since the beginning of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, the EU has allocated almost 35 billion euros in direct budget aid. These funds contributed to the maintenance of macroeconomic stability and allow financing of priority budgetary needs.
"The EU is a key partner of Ukraine, which continues to play a decisive role in accelerating our victory and strengthening the country's economic stability," Marchenko said.
Ukraine Facility
Ukraine Facility - an instrument that allows Ukraine to receive financial and technical assistance from the EU for a total amount of EUR 50 billion in 2024-2027. Of these, 38.27 billion euros will be allocated to budget support, 6.97 billion euros to the investment fund, and 4.76 billion euros to technical and administrative support.
On February 1, all 27 member states of the European Union agreed to a four-year aid package for Ukraine worth 50 billion euros, which was previously blocked by Hungary. Ukraine Facility, according to which the volume of EU support to Ukraine during 2024-2027 will amount to 50 billion euros. Of these, 38.27 billion euros will be directed to support the state budget, 6.97 billion euros to the investment fund, 4.76 billion euros to technical and administrative support.
Ukraine has already received 6 billion euros of transitional financing under the Ukraine Facility.
Ukraine will receive the next tranches within the framework of the instrument on a quarterly basis, subject to the fulfillment of the indicators defined in Ukraine's plan.
