American company U.S. Armor Group has unveiled the "World's Fastest Armored Car," designed to revolutionize the concept of "armored luxury." This is reported by Carscoops.
The Lucid Air Sapphire electric car, developed by the American company Lucid Motors, was used as the basis for the project. It has three motors with a total capacity of 1234 hp.
The Lucid Air Sapphire has been upgraded with composite armor and bulletproof windows that are capable of withstanding high-powered .44 Magnum revolver ammunition.
The mass of the armored Lucid Air Sapphire has increased by only 175 kg, so the electric car can reach a speed of more than 320 km/h (the speed of the standard model is 330 km/h).
The price of the car starts at 475 thousand dollars, which is about twice as much as the Air Sapphire costs. At the same time, customers can add more powerful armor to protect against grenades, explosive devices and powerful rifles.
